Charity cycle

Congratulations Team Pescado

The Pescado team have completed their summer charity challenge to cycle from London to Paris to raise funds for local charity Claire House. What an amazing effort! Massive congratulations and felicitations to everyone involved! A huge amount of effort has gone in to the planning and fundraising not to mention the physical effort involved in completing the journey.

Claire House is a children’s hospice which offers care, support and choice to families whose children won’t live to be adults. Located on the Wirral they offer care both at the hospice or at home with their team of dedicated staff. London to Paris challenge

When the challenge was in the planning stages Pescado opened it up to other businesses and we were pleased to have guest team members join us from DRD Communications and TN Robinson.

The gruelling 190.6 mile journey began in London on Monday 11th July. Looking the part in Pescado and Claire House branded lycra the team posed for pictures in front of Buckingham Palace before setting off for Felixstowe where they boarded the ferry for the crossing to Dieppe.

Once on French soil and back in the saddle they completed the rest of the journey cycling from Dieppe to Beauvais and eventually arriving in Paris at lunchtime on Wednesday where they posed again this time in front of the iconic Arc de Triomphe.

Exhausted and with some very tired legs and sore bums the team were thrilled to complete the challenge. They celebrated with some drinks in the beautiful French capital before heading

The team have already raised more than £6,000 between them but would love to hit their total target of £10,000. Thank you to everyone who has sponsored them so far. The team would also like to thank West Wallasey Car & Van Hire for lending them the van for the journey.

If you would like to help them reach this milestone you can still sponsor them on their Just Giving Page.
